Finally! I started painting this more than half a year ago >.< Well, I hope it was worth it!
My first shot at digital portraits, he is the j-rock singer Gackt, ex-member of the most great Malice Mizer. I'm not his fangirl, what's wrong with me? *tears* I never wanted to draw him, and then this picture came along... and his eyes- oh, the eyes... *hypnotised* Erm, anyways, forgive any of my mistakes! I hate the jewelry, I'm sorry that I did such an awful job with them! Evil shiny things, they killed my hand, and they are still ugly... My fave part is the nose, don't ask me why... *ish weird* Done mainly on Photoshop7, some details were added in painter IX (painter is so difficult to use! makes me feel stupid... -.-;; ) Any texture brush was made by me. 90% mouse, 10% Wacom tablet (mainly the hair) I apologise for the signature! I know, it uglifies the pic, but it was either that or a watermark... It was a really hard pic to do, so no stealing please! You did great work and you done this with 90% mouse and only 10% wacom ?? MOuse is a painful tool for works like this ....!!! Anyway i like it very much ...and the eyes and hair are very nice ...... -- Die old and live fast  Crazy good...I love the textures you used.....it just really brings out a more artistic feel to a portrait...You captured him beautifully...especially the eyes...they stand out most...next to his skin...I loved those nice warm tones you used. BTW...the jewelry is not ugly...it's gorgeous...you captured the luminous shine of it...and it looks so real like i can reach in and touch it. Beautiful portrait worth a fav..not just because it's Gackt, but because it's a beautiful portrait

All I did was copy the gorgeousness! Textured brushes simply made my life a whole lot easier... Weee! I suddenly feel a bit better about all the shinnies!
